The 2017 ‘Dee Richards’ Pride Award Ambassadors:

The first Pride Ambassador is Raphael Djeukam Danleu, a vastly experienced member of the we clean team. Under the guidance of Contract Manager, Maureen Francis, Raf has progressed to Contract Support Manager, and through his reliability and strong work ethic has gone from strength to strength. Maureen commented:

“I can always depend on Raf, he works tremendously hard within our MAC and Livery Place cleaning contracts and meets the high standards that are set. He’s so polite and friendly!”

The second Pride Ambassador is Sue Jones, who works at the CBRE Tarmac Portland House cleaning contract. Sue is an incredibly effective Cleaning Operative who has tremendous punctuality and presents herself professionally. Overseeing Portland House is Contract Manager Robb Paton, who extolled Sue’s virtues, saying:

“She’s an exemplary Cleaning Operative, a large corporation such as Tarmac expects Cleaning Operatives to provide the highest level of service, with a large team on-site this can be a challenge. But Sue aligns herself with the we clean ethos and meets the expectations.”

Carol Ore is the third person to be awarded a Pride Ambassador Award!

Carol plays a pivotal role within our West Bromwich Building Society contract, which includes their prestigious Head Office facility and all of their local branches throughout the Midlands. A personable lady, Carol works diligently and has excelled under Contract Manager, Lynn Gill, who said:

“Carol is Mrs Dependable! She’s been with we clean a long time and has always had a great attitude and is willing to help at a moments notice. A real pleasure to manage, very deserving of her award, well done Carol!”

Our fourth Pride Ambassador, is Training Manager, Duncan Thomson!

After recently celebrating his 70th birthday, Duncan is showing no signs of slowing down. Utilising his experience and wealth of industry knowledge to develop and train Operatives and Managers throughout the business. Duncan also plays a vital role during contract start-ups by training staffs in health and safety and cleaning techniques. Director, Paul Concannon commented:

“Duncan is a fantastic asset to the business, his work ethic and experience is invaluable. He sets a brilliant example and its wonderful that he is able to pass on his knowledge.”

 

Ryan Richardson Cleaning Op MIRA 2

The next we clean Pride Ambassador is Ryan Richardson, a Cleaning Operative working within the HORIBA MIRA contract in Nuneaton. 

One of the younger members of the MIRA cleaning team, Ryan is learning under the guidance of Site Cleaning Manager, Karen Lord. An enthusiastic young man, Ryan takes pride in his work and his punctuality. HORIBA MIRA is a world class testing facility, and so the on-site we clean team must follow strict guidelines and adhere to high standards, something which Ryan does daily.

Nelson Orvalho also picks up a Pride Ambassador Award for his outstanding work at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon!

Boasting the World’s largest collection of historic British cars, and with a huge annual footfall, the impressive museum must be sparkling, and hygienically clean all year round. Working throughout the day when the museum is at its busiest, Nelson must focus on his cleaning duties, as well as be attentive and polite when interacting with the public, as he is the face of we clean within the museum!

The seventh Pride Ambassador is Amy Jelfs!

Amy is an exemplary employee based at AFH. Throughout her time with the business Amy has always displayed integrity and fantastic attention to detail, two things which have held her in good stead as she made the transition from Cleaning Operative to Location Manager. 

Contract Manager, Robb Paton is delighted to have witnessed her progression, commenting: 

“When starting with the company Amy was initially shy, but as time passed she has developed her skills and gained important experience, growing soundly into her role as Location Manager. Hard working and diligent, she communicates well with myself and the cleaning team she oversees.”

Lynn Harrison is the eighth person to pick up a Pride Ambassador Award!

As Location Manager, Lynn plays a key role within our Selly Oak Trust School contract in Birmingham. She leads a large team of Operatives and works closely with Contract Manager, Debbie Rhodes who commented: 

“Lynn and the team here at Selly Oak Trust School operate in the heart of Birmingham and they do a fantastic job, and one which Lynn is genuinely passionate about. This passion is highlighted in the manner in which she carries out her role, and the standard of cleanliness maintained at the school.”

The final Pride Ambassador Award goes to Damien Ellis!

As an early morning Operative, Damien is up before the birds ensuring the iconic buildings of Brindleyplace are impeccably clean. Working as part of the large on-site team, Damien possess great desire to grow within the business and is a dynamic Operative, applying full focus and effort to each of his shifts. Damien has also recently been involved in a number of cleaning projects with the Specialist Cleaning Team. He is aware of the important role that he carries out, and he represents we clean excellently.
