Floors 2 Go – Not At The British Motor Museum
Whilst most people were enjoying the festive Christmas break, the Specialist Cleaning Team at we clean were busy at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire, carrying out the annual strip and reseal of the extensive vinyl flooring on the site.
As part of the process, the team removed all old floor polish using environmentally friendly floor stripping agents, then addressed and removed in-ground dirt deposits from the floor, individually treated deep scratches and rust marks, and carried out extensive detail work around the gallery edges.
Floors were force dried using industrial air blowers following neutralisation of the floor areas with white vinegar, then three coats of metallised emulsion floor polish was applied to the floor to offer a clean and highly polished finish.
The British Motor Museum had plans a number of years ago to replace these vinyl floor coverings, however due to this annual maintenance programme and the expertise of the we clean Specialist Cleaning team these floors have remained in pristine condition.
