As the Formula 1 British Grand Prix returns to Silverstone this weekend, motorsport is once again at the centre of national attention. While hundreds of thousands of fans descend on the home of British racing, the Silverstone Museum continues to welcome visitors from across the globe every day, celebrating more than 75 years of motorsport innovation, engineering excellence and unforgettable sporting moments.
At we clean, we are proud to play our part behind the scenes, delivering specialist cleaning services that help maintain one of the UK’s most iconic visitor attractions.

SILVERSTONE MUSEUM
The Silverstone Museum is far more than a collection of racing cars. It is a vibrant, interactive destination that tells the story of Britain’s rich motoring heritage through immersive exhibitions, legendary Formula 1 machinery and the people who have helped shape the sport. Delivering cleaning services within such an environment requires meticulous attention to detail, careful planning and an understanding that every aspect of the visitor experience really matters!
Headed up by Richard Wharton, Operational Business Manager and Krisztina Szigeti, Contract Support, our teams work around valuable exhibits, busy visitor flows and major events to ensure the museum remains welcoming, safe and impeccably presented. While the many patrons and guests may never notice the work taking place behind the scenes, it plays an essential role in protecting the venue’s reputation and enhancing the whole visitor experience.

The Silverstone Museum forms part of our expanding portfolio of specialist arts, heritage and visitor attraction contracts. Alongside the British Motor Museum, Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) and Birmingham Museums Trust, we support organisations that preserve nationally significant collections while welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
Each venue presents unique operational challenges. Whether protecting historic vehicles, caring for priceless artefacts, supporting live performances or adapting around changing exhibitions, our teams understand that cleaning within cultural environments demands flexibility, professionalism and absolute respect for the spaces in which we work. It is this specialist expertise that has enabled us to continue growing our presence across the arts and heritage sector.
F1 ARCADE
That expertise now extends into one of Birmingham’s newest entertainment destinations. Earlier this year, we were delighted to commence delivery of cleaning services at F1 Arcade Birmingham located within the Paradise development. Combining premium hospitality with cutting-edge Formula 1 racing simulators, F1 Arcade offers visitors the opportunity to experience the excitement of Grand Prix racing in an immersive, highly realistic environment. Although very different from the historic surroundings of Silverstone Museum, both venues share the same ambition: delivering exceptional experiences that leave a lasting impression.

Our continued success within this sector has been built on the values that define we clean.
David Harker, Director commented:
“We were selected because of our people-first ethos, recognising that exceptional service always starts with exceptional people.
We invest heavily in recruiting individuals with the right attitude, providing comprehensive training and supporting long-term career development, ensuring every colleague has the confidence and capability to deliver consistently high standards.
Supporting our frontline teams is a robust management structure that provides dedicated contract management, responsive operational support, regular quality assurance and proactive communication with every client.
This collaborative approach enables us to adapt quickly, continuously improve performance and build long-lasting partnerships founded on trust and reliability.”
Innovation also remains central to our service delivery. From digital auditing to robotics, environmentally responsible cleaning methodologies and sustainable product solutions, we continually invest in new technologies that improve efficiency while maintaining outstanding cleaning standards. For busy museums, cultural venues and visitor attractions, this ensures minimal disruption while delivering consistently exceptional results.
NOAH CHECKLEY
Motorsport also has a special connection to our businesswith one of our young colleagues, Noah Checkley attempting to carve a career within this ever-evolving sport. Away from his trainee logistics role at we clean, Noah is establishing himself as one of the sport’s exciting young talents, competing in the Overall GTI Production Cup.

Following an outstanding season, Noah secured six class victories, including wins at Olton Park and two victories at Thruxton, while standing on the podium in all but four races. His consistency and determination earned him two trophies at the end-of-season awards, and with ambitious plans for 2026, he is determined to challenge even further up the grid.
Supporting Noah reflects something much bigger than sponsorship. It forms part of our wider Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and our commitment to engaging with the local communities in which we operate.
Whether investing in local charities, creating employment opportunities, volunteering our time or helping talented individuals pursue their ambitions, we believe successful businesses have a responsibility to create positive social value beyond the services they provide.
Noah’s journey perfectly reflects the values we celebrate throughout our business. Dedication, teamwork, continuous improvement and resilience are qualities that define successful racing drivers, but they are equally important to the teams delivering exceptional service for our clients every day.

As the British Grand Prix captures the imagination of millions this weekend, we are proud to support motorsport in more ways than one.
From preserving Britain’s incredible racing heritage at the Silverstone Museum, to helping create unforgettable visitor experiences at the state-of-the-art F1 Arcade Birmingham or championing one of our own emerging racing talents, our connection with this incredibly popular sport continues to grow!
