Who are we?

We Clean Ltd are the midlands leading commercial cleaning organisation, operating from its Head Office in Rubery and providing professional cleaning services to a wide range of blue chip commercial, industrial and well known venue establishments. As part of our continued organic growth we are recruiting for an experienced Payroll Administrator to ensure our 600+ staff are correctly and timely rewarded for their hard work.

The Role:

  • Who are we looking for?
  • · Experience working in a payroll team
  • · The role will require a working knowledge of payroll legislation
  • · Methodical, process driven – with strong attention to detail
  • · Ability to prioritise workload in a demanding environment
  • · Good communicator, personable and ability to work well within a team

Duties:

The role entails end to end processing of our in house payroll, including but not limited to;

  • · Inputting timesheets to sage payroll
  • · Payroll processing and reporting
  • · Inputting new starters and production of leavers
  • · Production of pension in line with pension regulatory requirements
  • · Bacs payments
  • · RTI processing
  • · DBS and Credit Checking
  • · Maintain holiday records
  • · Attachments of Earnings
  • · Liaising with contract mangers, employee and stakeholders at all levels

We are looking for a Cleaning Operatives who are passionate, motivated and hard working.

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Building Manager, working as an integral part of the One Centenary Way and the wider Paradise team to deliver a first-class customer experience to all tenants and visitors to the Welcome Space and Lounge
  • Own and take accountability for the cleanliness of the Welcome Space and The Lounge ensuring the Welcome Space is always clean and presentable
  • Be an ambassador for Paradise Birmingham in any and all interactions with other staff or members of the public
  • Regularly clean crockery and kitchen utensils, load and unload the dishwasher
  • Daily clean of kitchen areas and keeping refrigeration, freezers and stores clean
  • Supporting the welcome space team in delivering a business class environment ensuring the main welcome space and the lounge are maintained to an excellent standard at all times
  • Replenishing Welcome Space and the Lounge stocks where necessary following instruction from the Welcome Space Supervisor
  • Work effectively within COSHH regulations
  • Report any issues to the on-site Building management team and follow up where necessary.
  • Establish excellent tenant relationships
  • Supporting the welcome space team at busy times in welcoming tenants and visitors into the building
  • Participate in regular team meetings, reporting on performance for the housekeeping team contributing to continuous improvements.
  • Ensure all aspects of front-of-house We Clean admin policies and procedures are adhered to
  • To be familiar with the building and its’ tenants
  • Ensure the safety of all contractors, tenants and visitors to ensure the highest levels of compliance in respect of Health and Safety and Statutory Legislation
  • Competent to support planned and unplanned evacuations, always remaining calm and professional
  • Commitment to Excellence – uses initiative, adapts positively to change and is proactive in finding solutions to issues. Always focuses on delivering quality work and driven

About Paradise and One Centenary Way

Paradise Birmingham is one of the most high-profile city centre commercial developments in the UK, bringing new jobs, skills, homes, public realm and pedestrian links to the city. With up to ten new buildings, including a hotel and the 49 storey Octagon residential tower, it is a true mixed-use destination for visitors as well as workers and residents.

One Centenary Way is the latest and largest element so far of the groundbreaking £1.2 billion Paradise estate.   • Driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous due to the site location.
