We will be announcing the 2017 Pride Award winners shortly!

The company was pleased to end the year on a positive note as we celebrated Duncan Thomson’s 70th birthday and had a Christmas themed gathering at our Head Office Facility.

Duncan has proudly been the Health & Safety/Training Manager for the organisation over the past 5 years and during that time has come to embody everything good about the unique we clean Company ethos.

Director, Paul Concannon was full of praise for Duncan, commenting:

“Duncan is an incredibly young 70 year old, he’s been a brilliant ambassador for the organisation, his expertise within the cleaning industry is second to none and his overriding passion is admirable. It was a pleasure to welcome Duncan’s wife Irene to join his we clean colleagues into the office to celebrate his 70th.

“During 2018 Duncan will be focusing his efforts predominantly on his Training role within the business as David Holmes-McClure his support manager for the past 3 years takes on sole responsibility of managing the Company’s on-going Health & Safety Policies, procedures and processes.”

During the celebrations Duncan was immensely grateful to be awarded the prestigious Dee Richards Pride Award. This accolade is awarded to those who have contributed something very special to the business and Duncan is fully deserving of the award.

Speaking after receiving his award, Duncan said:

“I deeply, deeply appreciate the effort that both the Directors and staff have gone too.

“I was genuinely very surprised, but what a special day, especially with my wife, Irene being present along with my colleagues.

“The Dee Richards Pride Award was the icing on the cake, Dee was a phenomenal woman and to receive an award in her name is a real honour. I rarely get emotional but i’ve been close to welling up a few times today!”

Overall, the day was a wonderful opportunity for Duncan and the team to relax and don their festive jumpers after another year of hard work.
